Use case · Creative or design studio

For creative and design studios: the fourth round of revisions.

Branding, design and content delivered in rounds of review. The scope is usually clear on rounds; the slippage comes from “just one more pass” and sign-offs that never quite land.

The moment

Two rounds of revisions are in the agreement. The third arrives as a reply-all with eleven comments from four stakeholders. Nobody says no, nobody says what a third round costs, and the sign-off meeting is moved for the second time.

What fits

  • Request template “Creative studio”: Change request, New brief, Revision, Sign-off, Question
  • Deliverables module, one switch away: numbered review rounds and client decisions with evidence; clients review in the portal

The loop, for this kind of work

  1. 01

    Agreement

Deliverables, the number of review rounds and what counts as sign-off become scope statements; the fee and dates become the baseline.

  2. 02

    Request

Revisions and sign-offs arrive through the portal as their own request kinds. A round beyond the agreed number is flagged by the scope check.

  3. 03

    Impact

The extra round is priced by role and scheduled against the designers’ real availability; the sign-off date moves visibly, or does not.

  4. 04

    Decision

The client’s approver decides on the priced round; deliverable reviews are recorded with who approved and when.

  5. 05

    Approved work

The approved round joins the agreement and the delivery plan; the record shows the fee and the new sign-off date.

  6. 06

    Delivery

Checks for overdue client reviews and revision rounds beyond the limit raise findings before the schedule slips again.

Make the next request the first one on the record.
